Initially, the Links page was to replicate how they looked a before. I also wanted to somewhat pay tribute to many of the companies that are and used to be around. I then started to expand it to some links I had from my old race team (Team Reaction) links with my friends in Japan. That idea evolved again to showcase more of the "Import scene" in America. The Import presence online was amazing because it was all open and experimental. There were aspects of the Import scene I really enjoyed. That is when I had to make sure the LINKS page is also somewhat of a tribute to the era as well. Not active on all the links, but some will have additional pages to show case products or how their website looked.

This first links page is dedicated to many of the Japanese companies. At the time, some had basic webpages and some had high end Adobe Flash websites. Very integrated set ups too. I believe most of these companies are still around.

The next links page is for the "Import Scene". Which was mixed between cars, girls, brands, music and nightlife. Many of the sites promoted more than just cars. It was super interesting to be into the Import Scene during this time. It was lively!!!

American Import lifestyle and companies

These links were established with my old teams websites. People used to experiment and make their own websites. Part of link exchange was also having a small banner that would be personal. These ideas have gone away because our current social media allows more flexibility.
