Voltage Regulator Replacement(for water/coolant and fuel gauges)

My water temperature guage and my fuel guage were both dead when I bought the car. This needed to be fixed (mostly the water temp. guage; I can live without a fuel guage). So I took the dash apart and started testing things with my multi-meter that the FSM said I should test (I just went down the little flow chart of what to check on this page:

Turned out my Voltage Regulator was suppsoed to output 8 volts but was only outputting 0.18 volts. So I bought a L7808 Voltage Regulator from Mouser.com (Although I dont know if I would buy from them again. Their website is a little difficult to navigate), soldered on some wires, crimped on some connectors, put it all back together and it worked like a charm!
