Day 5 – Fukuoka Nights
One of my favorite things to do is walk around at night. The ambience, the lights and even at times the silence is such a huge draw to me.
After coming back from Nagasaki, I decided to go to LaLa Port. The reason is because they put a 1/1 Scale Gundam. This was the RX-93 V Gundam.
While there, I explored Lala Port and the Gundam base there.
Afterwards, I headed towards my hotel and started get things ready. I head to do laundry and I wanted to go walk around. Fukuoka is gorgeous at night. I went to Nakasu Island (not really, but just a small land in the canal) and checked out the Yatai stalls. I love the food at these stalls, but it was super busy and I didn’t feel like waiting. So I went walking around and did some late evening shopping at Don Q and a few stores in the area.
It was getting pretty late, I decided I need to do my laundry and there was a place a few blocks from my hotel. The laundrymat was 24hrs. I finally got my laundry done around 2 am.
While I didn’t get to explore Fukuoka like I did in 2018, 2019 and 2020… I was able to check things out.
