Day 10 – Iza Works and Nikko Circuit
I’ve been wanting to meet with Iza-san since I saw him posting his car with an SR20DE. I’ve even seen some videos of him drifting. When I reached out to him and planned to meet up, he wanted to me a couple days ahead of our scheduled meeting. There was a drifting event at Nikko Circuit and Alexi (Nori Yaro) was going to record there. I couldn’t make it that day because my family was with me.
When we did meet up, I thought it was going a chill meet up, take pictures of his car and that would be in. When he picked me up. He asked if I wanted to go to Nikko Circuit as there is still time to go drifting. I was game. I’ve never been to Nikko Circuit and it has honestly been a while since I was at a drift event of any kind.
Once we go to the pits.. it was crazy! There was time attack and drift practice going on. Afterwards, Iza-san asked if I wanted to do a ride a long..OH YEAH!!!

Lastly, some milestones (in my mind). Iconic Nikko Circuit, with a Leopard is one thing. With Iza-san and myself… even better!
Closing – I never thought I’d see Nikko Circuit, let alone experience drifting there. I also haven’t been close to drifting like this in 15+ years. So it brought back that amazing feeling. To meet Iza-san and see his cool car… even better!!
