I was able to do this 3rd trip due to having some mandatory paid educational leave (40hrs) and there was a conference in Japan.
This time, the focus was in the Kanto and Tohoku regions. There was a lot of ground to cover on this trip. I’ve been more into exploring Japan more than on car stuff. This trip I did more car stuff compared to the previous trips earlier this year (March and July) and if you don’t know, I DON’T plan my trips around car events. I Do, however, plan it around my friends.
I was in Chiba for the 1st few days and I have good brothers there!
I was able to meet with Umezawa-san and Taguchi-san. I visited them in 2023. This time, Umezawa-san picked me up and took me around Chiba.
I also met with Oinuma-san, but we didn’t take a picture together. We met at Utsunomiya station at night.
I also met with Suenaga-san. I was able to check out both my Estima and Mazda Porter Cab.
On my final day in Japan, I met with Iza-san. Since my flight wasn’t until 9pm, I pretty much the whole day. When I met up with Iza-san, he said he wanted to take me to a meeting. I didn’t realize it was pretty far, but I also didn’t realize that it was a huge event!
