Day 6 – KitaKyushu
This whole day was free and I was going to Fukuoka to Nagoya. During this time, I wanted to stop by a few places to check out a few things. This 1st stop was KitaKyushu/Kokura station.
I have been to Korkura station in 2018, but it was just to ride the Monorail and a brief check out of station. During that short trip, I remember looking down and I saw a Shotengai and I wanted to check it some day.
Well, today was that day! After getting off the Shinkansen, I put my luggage in a locker and pulled out Google Maps. I saw that Kokura Castle was nearby!!! Well, let’s go check it out!!
The Castle was gorgeous, but the best part was the back side with the moat… holy smokes that reflection was the best!
On the way back to Kokura station, I walked past Riverwalk and Tokiwabashi
