The Hero's journey is one that comes full circle. I feel that is a perfect fit for Project Leopard. Normal car, transformed to be stronger, went to battles (was a drift car for a bit), died (blown motor) and now it is being resurrected! Once done, it will have be tested at times, but will mostly go back to normalcy in function.
The story of how Project Leopard became infamous and how it disappeared was interesting. It was a high profile car, being that it was an RB powered M30, magazine car, then switched owners quite a few times and it was given drift duties for a few owners. It's status of a magazine car was reduced to drift missile. With many not taking care of the M30, condition degraded. Many people knew of the Project Leopard, but didn't know what happened to it.
When I was informed about the car, I just kept tabs on it and even JNC (Considering the Following: M30 article) mentioned Project Leopard. I honestly felt it was my duty to help get it back together, whether it was owned by somenoe (like Jon) or myself. I wanted to see it survive. When it was offered to me, I made a committment to finish the car and get it to where it once was and I hoped to get it to be better. The journey is still not finished.
