Another question I get asked is,"Why not use your Blue M30?". It's a good question. It's well maintained, I try to keep it up even with flaws it has. It is a better starting point if I decided to swap in all parts I got from Project Leopard M30.

When you see how rough the Project Leopard is, and it IS A PROJECT it is easy to dismiss it. Even when Jon found it, it would have been easier to just part it out. Pieces missing, damaged bumper covers, rough interior, no engine or transmission installed... and to build it would take a lot of time, energy and money.

So why not just use the Blue M30? What it really comes down to is, the blue M30 ISN'T PROJECT LEOPARD. While my blue M30 is a good base, it isn't historic. Swapping it wouldn't have as much as an impact as rebuilding a former magazine car. I wanted to rebuild the original magazine M30, Project Leopard. But that would be the difference in this build vs others. It's reviving a car back to what it once was.. even trying to make it better.
