Lincoln Park Steps 2015
Lincoln Park steps in San Francisco opened up with it being artistic and tiled. It is located in the outer Richmond district. We went to go check out.

Lyon street steps are at the edge of the Presidio and Pacific Heights, an upper class neighborhood. Once you get 1/4 of the way, you will notice all the big houses.
There are some spectacular views from the middle and top of Lyon Street Steps.
We’ve traversed these steps quite a few times. You start at the bottom, go through what feels like people’s backyards and side streets and then you come upon
Parallel to the Filbert Steps is the Greewich steps, which people use as the opposite of Filbert steps (go up one and down the other).
Levi’s Plaza is, as the name implies, where Levi’s jeans are headquartered. There is somewhat of a small museum and out front in the Plaza is a nice water fountain/structure. It is almost a hidden gem.
This is also the base of the Filbert Steps, which goes to Coit Tower.
While everyone knows Capilano Suspension bridge, there is another suspension bridge in North Vancouver. It is located in Lynn Canyon.
The bridge isn’t as famous or as wide as Capilano, but it gets your across to see some amazing scenery.
After crossing the bridge, you’ll go on some trails.
This will go along the water. Go upstream a bit and you will find a watering hole that people love to jump in during the summer.. and yes, it is clear fresh water!!!
Later you will come up to some pretty steep steps. It goes around, but we decided to just head back after that.
Burrard Dry dock Pier is in North Vancouver Island. When I was driving around, I saw the pier and wanted to see if it was accessible.
I used my Iphone 5C. I NEVER liked Apple’s camera as the night images look too grainy and dark.
But what can I say, I still took pix with it.
Another great beach in Vancouver BC. Not far from Burnaby, but there is heavy traffic going there.
Additionally, when we went, there was tons of parking, but I can see that getting full.
*PAY FOR PARKING! THEY CHECK.
While my family was living in Vancouver BC, I flew up for this week (Thanksgiving week), but I had a sinus infection and had a constant fever. I felt like crap and was miserable. I had the shivers and all. I still made time to see this beach and hang with my family.
It was so cold, the pond there was frozen.
I found a site called “bored in Vancouver” and I went looking for it.
I really liked it and even made sure I climbed to the top. I never left any garbage, but it does look like someone might be camping there at times.
The secret tree has a hammock on top.
On another weekend trip to Vancouver BC, I was able to explore more eastward towards Chilliwack.
I read about Bridal Veil Falls and had to see it.
Parking was outside the gates. It is winter and I guess the park isn’t “fully” open. People were still walking to the park and to the falls.
A good 15 minute hike and we got there.
It was pretty majestic. I ventured closer to video.
In 2015, my family was in staying in Vancouver BC, while I stayed in the bay area and worked.
Almost every other weekend, I went to Vancouver BC. These short incursions were somewhat of a get away from my work and school life.
They were short trips, but I always tried to make the most of them, exploring BC as much as possible.
Going along the Sea to Sky Highway, we came up Lion’s Bay, I pulled over and next to us was Harvey Creek.
It was tranquil at that point and being with my family was what made me happy.
