Sand Point, Lake Tahoe 2015

To celebrate Lucas’ 1st birthday, we took a trip to Lake Tahoe. This was between seasons, so even though there was snow, it didn’t seem enough for it to be super busy.

But we didn’t go for snowboarding or skiing.

It felt like there weren’t any or many tourists, but it was kinda nice to go to a beach or park and have very few people there!

We stayed the night, but the treasure was the beaches… they were pretty empty or very few people on them!!!

the one we spent time at was Sand Point, which is on the upper right side of Lake Tahoe.

Sand and CLEAR WATER!!!!

16th Avenue Tiled Steps and Grandview Park

One of the places I like to take people that visit is this spot. On a clear day, it is gorgeous.

In recent years, it has gotten super busy as now it is on everyone’s radar! Can’t blame them though.

As you can see from the map above,  just a few more steps, you get to go to Grandview park. It is windy at times, but it does have a good 360 view of the nearby neighborhoods!

Golden Gate Lookout 2015

Like many big tourist cities, San Francisco has many things to offer. Golden Gate is iconic here and to make sure that people get their pictures and enjoy it, there are many places to view the bridge with photo opportunities available.

Just south of the bridge, along the beach, there are tons of trails and parks.

One is Golden Gate Lookout.

Honolulu Hawaii 2016

I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii. It is one of those places you always where you hear the natural beauty and culture is amazing. I was given an opportunity to visit Hawaii through my work. I had to go to Honolulu for a week long training. We had bought new machines at my hospital and so Philips (our vendor) offered week long training session, paid hotel with breakfast and lunch vouchers and free paid travel.

This would only cover me (as I brought my family) and the training sessions were from 8am to 4pm… so pretty much all day.

Lodging was offered at the Waikiki Beach Marriot Resort, which was right by the beach!!!

I loved it!
