Grouse Mountain 2007

There was a plan for Jasmin to meet with Agnes and Roanne in Vancouver BC, so we went.

I’ve been to Grouse Mountain a few times, but it was always when it was snowing, this was the first time I went to check it out during the warmer seasons.

It was pretty cool as there was a loggers event, but the view of Vancouver BC is always breathtaking.

Richmond Night Market

The Richmond Night Market is held during certain months and on weekends. It is a large food spot and other vendors for cloths and such come out as well.

You can appreciate this because it offers different assortments of food and the night experience.

I got to check this out on one of the weekends I was in Vancouver BC.

Granville Island, Vancouver BC

I’ve been to Granville Island a ton of times. I love it. So first off, Parking sucks. It is a shopping and dining place, so expect big crowds!

Tons of things to see and do here. A huge part is the Public market. I took my kids to the Kids Market. Inside there is an indoor play structure and food for kids.

Plateau and Brighton Parks, Vancouver BC

I love checking out Parks. Plateau Park Slidey Slides is between a fairground and soccer fields.
They have a parkour section too, but climbing structures and 2 very cool slides with that rubberized ground.

Brighton Park is a short walk towards the water, there is a tunnel that will lead you to the park by the water.

Very spacious area and a few structures for kids. Not to mention a pool for swimming and the beach of course.

Vancouver Aquarium 2015

It was a heavily rainy day in December 2015. I wanted to do something indoors and I realized I should check this out. This is located in Stanley Park.

The interesting thing about Aquariums is that they show regional species. I took the family there and spend a few hours looking at animals.

My Iphone was horrible with pictures since it was dark.. so here is the video.

Lynn Canyon, North Vancouver 2015

While everyone knows Capilano Suspension bridge, there is another suspension bridge in North Vancouver. It is located in Lynn Canyon.

The bridge isn’t as famous or as wide as Capilano, but it gets your across to see some amazing scenery.

After crossing the bridge, you’ll go on some trails.

This will go along the water. Go upstream a bit and you will find a watering hole that people love to jump in during the summer.. and yes, it is clear fresh water!!!

Later you will come up to some pretty steep steps. It goes around, but we decided to just head back after that.
