Porsche rear struts

Danny M. sent me his write up for the Porsche rear shocks replacement with pictures!!!

The rear I purchased Kyb adjustable AGX that have pressed on spring perches. 

Fabrication for 240sx rear AGX 

Easily removing  the spring perches with a rubber mallet.

Took careful measurements of spring heights.

Using the stock M30 spring and upper mount. 

 

 

Cutting the M30 spring perches off rear struts.

 

The AGX has a .475 longer extension than the M30 Strut. Modified the upper mount inner grommet and bushing. 380 to compensate. Wanted just a  little more height in the rear for future HP upgrades. 

Used a 2.5″ to 3″ exhaust reducer to lower coil spring and get correct spring height.
